Many are calling for the Obama campaign SuperPac to give back the recent $1 million contribution from comedian and political commentator Bill Maher. I disagree.
Bill Maher made that million over years and years of attracting attention through snide remarks, many misogynist attacks directed against women. Boob Twat, I call him. A new video highlights some of that vitriol.
It is important to remember that the worst words were directed not just at woman politicians but also at their family members, such as his many vile attacks on Sarah Palin's then-teenage daughter Bristol.
The question for the Obama campaign is whether they really want to build a second term on Bill "Boob Twat" Maher's largesse. Because you can be sure of this, if President Obama wins reelection on Boob Twat's million, you will never hear the end of Boob Twat claiming the second term as his own bootie.
But the money should not be given back to Boob Twat. He doesn't deserve to get his money back and reap the free publicity of this stunt. Instead the Obama campaign should donate the $1 million to charity, and I'd suggest that should be a charity of Bristol Palin's choice.
