I got a cell phone message today that I won a trip for me and my spouse on a cruise ship. The cheery woman said "all expenses are paid" and the trip is "on us." Why do I think "on us" means on the cruise ship and I will be paying the expenses?
I know it's can't be completely legit because they said I filled out a form to enter at an event last year. I never fill out forms. Besides, the only cruise destination I have ever even thought might be remotely fun is Alaska and this cruise would be out of Florida. And after the Costa Concordia went belly up off Isola del Giglio ...
