Andrew Breitbart Is Called up to the Big Blog

Iconic conservative libertarian blogger Andrew Breitbart has passed away. After collapsing last night while walking near his house in Westwood, he was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where we has pronounced dead. He was 43.

Breitbart's influence in the Tea Party movement cannot be overstated. He was the hero who took down Acorn and exposed Weiner. He was a featured speaker at Tea Party rallies across the country. When he spoke, people listened.

Andrew Breitbart was there at the revolution. He joined the Drudge Report in 1995 and helped Arianna Huffington start The Huffington Post. He went on to launch his own highy-influential websites Breitbart.com, Breitbart.tv, BigGovernment.com, BigJournalism.com, BigHollywood.com, and BigPeace.com.

The tribute at Big Government sums it up:

"Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us."
