Harvard Students Celebrate the End of Osama bin Laden

There was euphoria in Harvard Yard last night. Turns out those liberal Harvard students can sing the national anthem and chant U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

When was the last time Harvard students celebrated a U.S. military triumph? I'm sure there aren't many if any on the Harvard faculty who can remember the last time. But this is a different, more patriotic generation of students.

Today's college seniors were 12 and college freshmen were 8 when Al Qaeda flew commerical airliners into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. They were babies or not even born when truck bomber Ramzi Yousef hit the World Trade Center in 1993.
