Verizon Wireless Takes Old Tower Records Space

Verizon Wireless has opened a cell phone store in the old Towers Records store space in Harvard Square. Harvard Square needs another cell phone store? At least it isn’t a bank. And you can still buy music there, if you count the Verizon Rhapsody service.

For the past three years, we’ve had quite a few empty store fronts in Harvard Square. This is one of the last big spaces to get a new tenant. Now we just need to find permanent tenants for the old HMV space and the old Wordsworth space.
