Netanyahu Draws Red Line on Iran Bomb

Only a politician can take an enormous, difficult problem and boil it down to such utter stupidity that one wonders whether it is worth trying to do anything more about it. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have done just that in depicting the threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon as a cartoonish bomb in his speech at the UN yesterday.

I mean really? Is this what we've been fearing for so long? The only thing more stupid was Iran's President Ahmadinejad trumpeting his new world order. Cue Austin Powers.

Of course, allowing Iran to build nuclear weapons is something the world may have to repent for a very long time ... or an instantaneously short time.
