Eastwooding Last Week, Woodwarding This Week

Forward has run into Woodward. That's Bob Woodward, the journalist of Watergate fame, and his new book The Price of Politics. A "portrait of dysfunction" is how The New York Times describes the new book's portrayal of President Obama's dealings with Congress.

The money quote may be from businessman Ivan Seidenberg, reportedly to Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett:
"With all due respect, we will be here when you're gone."
Seidenberg considered himself a progressive independent. The Obama people apparently dismissed him as just another one percenter.
